Today is Joshua's Birthday and he has been counting down the days so he is very glad that he is finally 7!
This morning I took him to school with all his cupcakes and I walked him and and his hall monitor Ali from a higher grade had a big smile on her face when she saw Josh and wished him happy birthday and siad she had a sweet for him later. :)
And when I get home I will get to hear all about how his day went.
• The Chipmunks: The main characters of the series
Alvin Seville: The leader of the Chipmunks, Alvin is the talented troublemaker of the group.
Simon Seville: The tallest brother. Simon is the intelligent realist and the most responsible of the group
Theodore Seville: The youngest brother. Theodore is the cute innocent butterball of the group.
• The Chipettes: The Chipmunks' female counterparts and on-and-off girlfriends
Brittany Miller: Brittany, the leader of the Chipettes, is Alvin's counterpart. She is as equally vain and self-centered as Alvin. But like him, she really does care about others.
Jeanette Miller: Jeanette is Simon's counterpart. However, unlike Simon, who stands up to Alvin easily, she does not stand up to Brittany as easily. She is also very smart, which is what she does have in common with Simon. However, she is very shy and clumsy.
Eleanor Miller: Eleanor is Theodore's counterpart. She shares his love for food and cooking. But she is more athletic, more caring, and more likely to stand up to Brittany than Theodore is to Alvin.
David "Dave" Seville: The Chipmunks' adoptive father, songwriter and manager, Dave's patience is tested nearly everyday by Alvin, usually to the point where he yells "ALVIN!!!".
Miss Beatrice Miller: The kindly, absent-minded adoptive mother of the Chipettes. She occasionally babysits the Chipmunks and has a crush on Dave, even though she's old enough to be his mother.[citation needed] In her youth, she was part of an all-girl singing group called "The Thrillers".
Lilly: The Chipmunks' Rossini puppy who they adopted from the shelter following the death of their original pet, Cookie Chomper III, a kitten.
Vinny: The Chipmunks' birth mother (originally voiced by June Foray, then by Janice Karman). The Chipmunks find their long-lost mother after days of searching. Alvin gets upset because he doesn't understand why she abandoned them. Their mother explains that the year she abandoned them there was a horrible winter and all of the animals in the forest were forced to leave their homes. She realized that they wouldn't survive the journey if she brought them with her, so she decided to leave them with a nice man who was always kind to the forest animals (Dave). She told them that when spring came and she could finally return to get them, she saw how happy they were with Dave, and thought they would be better off with him. Eventually, Alvin forgives his mother. They return to Dave, but the brothers agree to keep in touch with their mother. In a later episode she and Dave clash on how to bring the boys up. Eventually they make up.
I just loved the Chipmunks and always sang along with this one as well,i think it is just to catchy.My favourite character was Theodore he was always so cute and I loved his squeeky little voice and then of course i loved all the Chippettes -they girls!

The Gummie Bears was a definate fav i used to watch the re-runs on YO.TV on SABC 1 in the mornings before school.And I just loves the Theme song ,although I love alot of these old cartoons theme song I think it is because they make me feel how it felt when I was younger when I used to watch it.Toadwart the ogre was Chante's fav ogre(nickname Toady).
All the Gummis names end in "i" strangely enough.

When I was younger my dad would do the Care bear stare with me.Which well frankly probably we looked like idiots because all we would do was stick out our tummies like our magic powers were coming out and say "Care Bear stare".I mean you gotta admit Care bears are relay cute with their tiny little Heart noses.I used to have a Pink Care bear but from being in a box for so long she went all flat and ugly so I didn't keep her .:(

I still love My Little Pony .I love to look at all the new one that my niece gets ,they are still so cute.
I even got a My little pony coffee mug from Cassandra for my birthday one year.And the magic part is that the mug is black until you put something warm into it and them the ponies apear.I know I am to old for it but age is just a number.

I love all the smurf charcters from Pappa Smurf -who is the only smurf who wears red and all the other smurfs turn to him for help.
Lazy Smurf-he can fall asleep anywhere at anytime.
Handy Smurf- Always has his pencil by his ear and is always ready to fix things.
Brainy Smurf-seems to be an expert on everything but is usually wrong.
Clumsy Smurf-can fall over his own feet,even his clothing looks clumsy they fit so loose,He is best friends with brainy.
Reporter Smurf-the reporter in the village and always has his quill and notepad handy.
Tailor Smurf- makes all the clothing for the Smurfs in the village
Farmer Smurf- Plants crops and organises the harvest for the Smurfs and always wears overalls.
Dreamy Smurf-Always dreaming of other places and other things.
Harmony Smurf-a musician but he doesn't have many fans in the village.
Painter Smurf-Speaks in a french accent and is an artist and refers to his art as a "masterpizzas"
Hefty Smurf-the strongest smurf in the village and is the only smurf with a tattoo(a red heart)and is best friends with Handy.
Vanity Smurf-Is very vein and can always be seen with a mirror in hand as he is very worried about his appearance.
Jokey Smurf-Known for his perculiar laugh and loud exploding gifts.
Smurfette-was created by Gargamel to destroy the village and was a brunette but Pappa Smurf's magic changed her nature and her hair colour.She loves flowers and the coulour PINK.She also seems to be theonly one that doesn't have Smurf after her name.

Poet Smurf-Lives for the written word and is known for his fantastic odes.
Grouchy Smurf- Is in deed grouchy and his favourite expression is "I hate (Fill in the Blank)!Whenever someone says just about anything.
Baker Smurf-a very good chef ,but spend alot of his time chasing after greedy.
Greedy Smurf-Exceptionally greedy but he loves one thing above all else-Food.And can't help himself from taking treats from Baker Smurf.
Snappy Smurfling- Had his age reversed and became Snappy Smurfling.Wears a yellow T-shirt with a storm cloud on it to show his diposition.
Slouchy Smurfling-Had his age reversed and became Slouchy Smurfling.He is very relaxed and wears a red shirt and a loose fitting cap.
Nat Smurfling-was Natural Smurf but went from old to young and became Nat Smurfling,He can talk to animals and loves all things to do with nature.Can always be seen wearing a straw hat and overalls.
Sassette Smurfling-Created by the smurflings to be a sister to them and Smurfette.She is outdoorsy and has red hair and freckles and wears a pink overall.
Baby Smurf-Baby Smurf was delivered to the village one evening via a stork and has magical powers and speaks in baby talk and it is not known whether Baby is a boy or a Girl.
Grandpa Smurf-The oldest of the Smurfs and returned to the village after a 500 year absence.He wears a yellow hat and pants.
Nanny Smurf-Is a nanny to all the smurfs and has a pet named smoogle.
Clockwork Smurf-Created by Handy but cannot talk only makes mechanical sounds.
Tracker Smurf-Excellent outdoorsman and tracker and carries a hiking stick.
Wild Smurf-Has clothing made of leaves and grew up in the wild and isn't understood by the other smurfs but can communicate with animals to give him assistance.
Then there are also the more infamous Gargamel-the smurfs nemasisa wizard who spends his days trying to capture,eat and destroy the smurfs.
Azrael-Gargamel's side-kick.Who makes the smurfs troubles worse when they are beign chased by gargamel.
Scruple-Gargamel's apprentice(although not very good at it)he was kicked out of wizard school and now stays with his ungle Gargamel.
The Village
Imagine having this many Smurfs.I'd love it.I think I had some when I was younger ,I wish I had kept them I am sure if I had the choice I would have.Moms!!Tisk!
Smurfette has always been my fav.I even bought a figurine of her when I went to convention in Cape Town.
You even get Smurfette make up -Come on!

There is also the Smurf's movie which should be out here soon.
I will give it a watch I am hoping it will be good,but it is a pitty it isn't a real cartoon.I hope the voices sound right.
